- Want to make friends?
- Have fun in a safe environment?
Cambridge Joint Playscheme (CJP) runs Saturday clubs as well as Easter and Summer Holiday Playschemes for children and young people, with moderate to severe learning disabilities aged 8-19 years.
The activities are planned to support everyone to engage in as many community based activities as is possible, these include swimming, boat trips, visits to museums, local wildlife centres, bowling and the golf driving range. We recently visited Cambridge United!
CJP plan activities, in consultation with parents and the children with the aim to build on their interests, encourage social interaction, independence from their families, develop communication skills, promote self-esteem and confidence, and provide much needed respite for parents. These activities undoubtedly support these incredible young people into adult life.
The children and young people are supported by a dedicated, caring and supportive staff team. We are able to provide a relatively high staff to child ratio, the ratio is determined upon your registration meeting with the Activities Manager.
- £10 per cinema club
- £20 per activity club (unless otherwise stated in the booking forms sent quarterly)
- Easter and Summer Playschemes: Prices set annually and advised at time of booking
