The Cambridge Arts Theatre is running a Relaxed Performance of Cinderella
on Saturday 19 December at 11am.
The performance is designed to be autism friendly with some amendments to the performance such as:
• slightly reduced volume,
• the house lights remain on dimly,
• no pyrotechnics,
• a relaxed attitude to noise within the auditorium
• the audience are free to come and go as they please.
The Cambridge Arts Theatre will also send out a Visual Story two weeks prior to the performance which is available to help audiences prepare for their visit .
The child and companion tickets cost £21.50 (including £3 per-ticket booking fee) with adults costing between £24 – £39 (including £3 per-ticket booking fee) depending on position of seat within the auditorium.
Tickets can be booked through the Box Office on 01223 503333.
Pre-performance visit to the Theatre
The Cambridge Arts Theatre is hoping to run an introductory session in November to allow people to come into the theatre and become familiar with the layout and appearance of the place, hopefully making the panto visit in December more enjoyable. They are yet to set a date for this introductory session but will let NAS Cambridge, and anyone who has already purchased tickets, know when this is arranged.
